Happy 4th of July!
Here is a 4th of July printable that I created to help you pray for our nation as we celebrate our independence!

You can print and frame this printable in your house, or tuck it in your Bible or prayer journal to use during your prayer time this weekend.
*I’ll post this week’s Bible verse card tomorrow 🙂
As I was looking around the internet for a cute St. Patrick’s day quote for the chalkboard in my kitchen, I came across the St. Patrick’s Breastplate prayer. Although I had heard parts of this prayer in hymns that we sing at church, I did not realize that this prayer was attributed to St. Patrick. St. Patrick’s Breastplate is a beautiful prayer invoking God’s protection, and can be prayed any time of year, not just on St. Patrick’s day.
Ephesians 6:10-18 tells us to “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” and “Put on the breastplate of righteousness.”
By praying this prayer, you are using it as a breastplate, or part of your spiritual armor, to help protect your heart from temptation and attacks by the devil.
I made a printable of St. Patrick’s Breastplate, so you can use it during prayer time, and display it in your house for St. Patrick’s Day!
You can download this printable here: St. Patrick’s Breastplate Prayer
As you celebrate the fun and mischief of St. Patrick’s day, take a few minutes to read and reflect upon St. Patrick’s prayer and invoke God’s protection on yourself as you start your day.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
February is the month of Love and there are many ways you can reach out to others to let them know that you care about them. Here are some fun ideas to help you spread the love:
Make some quick and easy strawberry Valentine cookies as a surprise for coworkers and friends! I tested out this recipe with both white and semisweet chocolate chips and both were delicious! I took them to work to share with coworkers and they were wiped out by the end of the day.
Mail Valentine cards to family and friends. This doesn’t have to be expensive! You can easily make your own, send these cute FREE printable postcards, or stop by Dollar Tree and pick some up for .50 cents each. By taking the time to mail Valentine’s cards, you can brighten someone’s day.
This idea inspired me to make my own Valentine’s cards (pictured below).
You can make these by using the free printable Valentine card below. Just click the image below and print on cardstock.
Use this mini envelope template to make some mini envelopes to glue onto the card. Lastly, write a mini love note and tuck it inside the envelope! The full size card fits into a 6 1/2 inch x 3 5/8 inch envelope.
Surprise your husband or someone special with this Valentine’s day gifts by the hour! I’ve already prepped this as my husband’s gift this year. To keep it budget friendly, I only bought enough gifts for 12 hours.
This Covert Cupid tradition looks like a great way to encourage acts of kindness among your family this Valentine’s season!
How are you going to spread the love this month?
